Spring has grudgingly made her appearance here in Ann Arbor. It seems to be one step forward and two steps back with the temps and we’re hungry enough to take anything above 40 degrees right now! I had a little garden experiment going ~ I planted cold weather greens in my raised bed in late fall and covered it with some old storm windows, wondering if the sun and extra heat through the glass would bring me winter salads. Unfortunately, once the snow fell in December it kept falling and completely covered the windows for months. It never left until a couple of weeks ago. I’m just starting to see a few inklings of baby greens so there’s hope. I have a few gigs this spring and quite a bit happening in the summer. I’ll post that before then.
