Welcome to the new Kitty Donohoe website!
And a million ‘thanks’ to Annie Capps for putting this together – she’s the best. There will be more coming soon, including live video’s and song uploads.
So far Spring 2011 has been a dud here in Ann Arbor. A few warm days, but mostly cold and rainy, rainy and cold. I have faith – it will change!
As I make progress on the ‘diaspora project’ I’ll post it here.
And if you haven’t checked out the Wine Gypsy site yet, please do. Simply put, it’s a Kitty Donohoe Concert with Sandhill Crane wines, provided by me. At least 10 of them, in fact. I’m offering new incentives to host a party, so now would be the time to look at your calendar.
And last but not least, I’m using my bragging rights for my sister Laurel Starkey, a very avid fiction writer who has just been published in the Iowa Review. A very big deal. The story is called ‘Eating Potato Salad on the Lawn of the Damned’ and one of the main characters is…me. If you want to see what I was really like as a bossy older sister, read this story! Apparently IR doesn’t publish current issues online but it’s in bookstores and libraries. Here’s a link. http://iowareview.uiowa.edu/
stay well
