It’s The Season now and the lights are up, the plastic will soon be on the
windows (I hope!), and I’m spending a lot of my creative energy working on the material for the new CD ‘The Kerryman’s Daughter’. Bill Clinton recently made a committment to revving up enthusiasm amongst Irish Americans in 2012 to encourage them/us to invest in Ireland. I’m all for that, of course, and hope that I can be a part of the movement. A good part of this CD will be recorded in Chicago as well as here in Michigan, and I’m working on getting Cavan accordion player Martin Donohoe involved as well. The next couple of months will see how this vision plays out.
Meanwhile, give something away to someone who needs it more than you do. Believe me, it helps you every bit as much as it does them.
